YOUNG CHEF OF PUNJAB

Objective

CTIHM would like to do this event as it is one of the oldest college in this field in Punjab and now we have many alumni who are working at the top level in hospitality field. So with that we have reached at this level that we can recognize the budding talent and excellence in this field. We would like to do the next level of the same i.e, Chef of Punjab-2016" in collaboration with Punjab Kesari so that we can do it at bigger level to showcase Punjab hospitality at the national level. We are honoured to do this as we have done many successful national event which have been a benchmark like Chef de Jalandhar, Chef of Punjab, Journey 2013, Say no to drugs yes to Lassi etc.

About the Event

“Young Chef of Punjab-2015” is a culinary competition which is organized by the CT Institute of Hotel Management, Jalandhar at Major Cities of Punjab namely Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Amritsar and Chandigarh. With support from the Ministry of Tourism, Punjab, it aims at spotting budding talent at the high school level. Students with a flair for cooking are eligible to take part in the event. The preliminary round of the competition is to be held in Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Amritsar and Chandigarh. The finalists are eligible for participating in Chef of Punjab-2016 directly, where they take part in the final culinary battle in the presence of expert chefs. Most of the well-known chefs agree that narrowing down on the finalist is a challenge. The primary aim of this competition is to promote cooking as a life skill and stimulating an interest in cooking among the students.

Talent! Talent!...it is talent hunt event... it is always important to give right platform to the students to understand their hidden talent which could be of any field that does not make any difference. What is important for me?---Right answer for this will be choose a field and chase for that…That’s life and that’s a race which make us to be idol for society for a good.
Main aim of young chef of Punjab is to take out hidden cooking talent from children that could help them in future……possibly they can become an Executive chef….or a celebrity chef…….it wonders….
So I request all students to get register yourself and do some innovation, creativity with food and surprise everyone………Looking forward to see u soon….
